Interview with Emperor Ayrod of Barbaros:
1-How was the beginning of the band, which is the main line of the band?
BARBAROS begins in 1998, when "Emperor Ayrod" (guitares & Vocal) I made call my old friends "Kabal occulto "(Drums) to founding a Black Metal band like Bathory,MayheM or DarkthronE.; the name of BARBAROS comes from the Greek mythology , that's named for a south Mediterranean people's (north Africa). 1999 the line-up changed with some guys from NOSFIRATU (R.I.P) " Mounir-canigoula(drums), Strauss(vox), Raouf-cannibal(bass)", 2001 "Kabal occulto " come back with Mohstrogg (drums-programs) for release first Demo called BARBAROS , 2001 September 27, first small-gigs to the festival " the nights of the correspondence " to Urban library Mohamadia Algiers. 2002 the second demo Forest of Anger on DARK ARTS recs. 2005 to day BARBAROS give the first interview on the net for Explosion Cerebral zine. (lol)
2- How do you create your lyrics, in what are based, what do you do first the lyrics or music, why?
Its very mystic and philosophic lyrics inspired from the Berber's history and mythology of the old people on the earth. But before that I composed my music on guitars and keyboards, then I arranged all in a multi-tracks , and finally, its very important for me cause; I have a music inspired by a black metal combined to the lyrics inspired by a dark ages, I hope that times will arrived.
3- Is easy to have a band in Algeria, do you have problems with censorship or anything like that?
Yes, it is very easy to have a band ,thats only for playing gigs, and there is very hard for recorded an album or demo on fukin hip hop or Rai-Arabian studio ; That's means; if u like release an metal album you go out, and no way to talk about the music materials, or statuary of artist ,cause its very critically in Algeria .
4- Are you Barbaros, do you think that with the band name are you offending all the commercial bands?
BARBAROS, it is not a c ommercial band , we just like support the real underground.
5- Are you also in Dark Arts, how do yu do to sign bands, what do you search like label, is to you more important view to support your underground scene?
Yes, I am a founder of DARK ARTS recs " http://www.darkarts.tk/ " , but to day a support die , cause a multiple raison I can't answer it here!.
6- How was the recording of your Barbaros demo, are you satisficied with it?
There is a first demo of BARBAROS, by that way I have think to created a small support for the underground bands ,after many exclusion by the Algerian society. And I have duplicated with my own materials to 33 copy tape A and Cd-r at DarkArts.tk , look at this situation ,I m very prouder to the first black metal demo In Algeria called BARBAROS.
7- About your Forest of Anger, do yo thik that your name have grown more in the scene, how is the answer of the media?
In the world underground scene I haven't send more promoted Forest of anger cd-r ,but I have some fan on the net to encouraged and support me . And just one or tow reviews on the net . if u means about Algerian scene BARBAROS it isn't most famous bands, just very little fans .
8- What do yuo know of Peru or Southamerica?
I know that a most black metal bands from Europe like play in this countries "southAmerica" ,and explosion cerebral zine is from Peru.. (lol)
9- Bee Algeria a middle east country, what do you think about terrorism and the problems with USA, do you believe in USA?
I fuck the world!!!!
10- To you exist any right religion, why, what do you think about the named avatars like Jesus, Devil, Buda and otehr, what do you think of them?
Some people say the right religion is Muslims other is Christians ..etc. I think that when the humans to be right then the religion can to be right, More than 300 Messenger , more than 124 000 prophet, more than 104 religion books ,All of these in a real history, the world society are more and more hypocrites , and I hate this society.
11- Have you played in live, how are your shows, have you played out of Algeria?
The one and only small shows on 2001 September 27, to the festival " the nights of the correspondence " to Urban library Mohamadia Algiers. and no gigs out of Algeria.
12- How is your private life, do you believe in love?
I have just finished my studies on Economics University; I like beer and Black Metal, And I believe in love the hate (lol)
13- Any future plan?
No yet.
14- Any last comment?
