Review of "Forest of Anger" by DarkZine (webzine R.I.P) from Algeria (in 2002)

"Forest of anger" est le premier cd-r du groupe BARBAROS qui a été produit par le label Dark Arts. Il y a eu beaucoup de problèmes au cours de l'enregistrement sur le coté idéologique et terminologique, et beaucoup de critiques dans leur milieu underground sur le coté musical .Cette album rassemble les parties musicales de la démo "Barbaros", sur lesquelles Ayrod rajoutera quelques arrangements. Plus de nouvelles compositions comme "Between woods and moon"...etc. Musicalement, il poussent le Black Metal dans ces premiers retranchements, avec des guitares plus rapides dans un fond de clavier très sombre."

"Forest of anger" is the first cd-r of BARBAROS, produced by "Dark Arts records". There were a lot of problems during the records on ideological side and terminological, and a lot of critiques in the local scene the musical side. This album gather the musical parts of the "Barbaros" demo, on which Ayrod will add some arrangements and more of new compositions as " Between woods and moon" ...etc. Musically, it pushes Black Metal in these first entrenchment, with faster guitars in a bottom very dark keyboard."
